ABOUT BACHRACH.LAW

After working for the Newland Real Estate Group for nine years, Jeff re-opened Bachrach.Law P.C. in 2017.

Jeff had been legal counsel and project manager for Newland’s Reeds Crossing development in Hillsboro, a 462-acre mixed-use master-planned community. He served as lead attorney, chief strategist and manager of entitlements for the project, beginning with the expansion of the UGB, through a multi-year planning and zoning process, to completion of the finance plan, the development and annexation agreements, and the land-use approvals.

Previously, he had worked for nearly 20 years with the Portland law firm of Ramis, Crew, Corrigan and Bachrach. The firm specialized in land-use, real estate development and government law. Jeff represented owners and developers on a broad-range of projects.

Over his career, he has had an active involvement with a number of trade associations, non-profits and government boards and commissions.

He currently serves on the Portland Planning and Sustainability Commission and the Portland Development Review Advisory Committee.

He is a former Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Portland and Reach Community Development Corporation.  He recently stepped down after six years on the Board of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, including four years on its Executive Committee.
